From MVP to North Star:
A New Core Product
At Cultivate, an AI-driven coaching platform, we saw an opportunity during the COVID-19 lockdown as teams struggled with the sudden shift to remote work and digital collaboration. To address this, I led the design of an MVP that gathered team members' collaboration preferences through a survey and provided actionable recommendations to improve communication.
The feature, named TeamDynamics, quickly gained traction—achieving a virality score of 2, with each user bringing in two additional users. Over time, it became the core product, combining AI-driven insights with user-generated data to enhance team collaboration. This feature ultimately became Cultivate’s key value proposition and played a pivotal role in the company's acquisition about a year later.
